TISTR has conducted research and development on the production process of rice powder with mineral salt mixture as oral rehydration solution (ORS) for the patients of diarrhea and weakening symptom. These rice products have been flavored with chicken and dehydrated vegetable to improve product feature, taste, and other familiar characteristics to consumers. The panel test results reveal that the flavored rice products are more preferable than the natural or unflavored products
