Antibacterial gel and antifungal spray for pyodermas treatment in dogs from turmeric (Curcuma longa L.) were developed from TISTR. These products could relief septic wound and promote topical drug industry from Thai herbs for pets. It could substitute and reduce the import of synthetic drugs. Moreover, these products have already been under patent registration and transfer technology to private sector.
